I'm a rural Australian artist, art teacher and lifelong learner. What started with painting and selling my own artwork has grown into something much bigger — creating, teaching and finding new ways to share my love of art with others and working things out as I went along.
I started by painting Australian subjects on recycled corrugated iron, using exterior house paint to create artwork that can be enjoyed outdoors. Along the way, I discovered just how much I love helping other people find their creativity too.
My Pick & Paint packs grew from hearing so many people say, “I’d love to paint, but I wouldn’t know where to start.” Now, as I travel Australia, I’m combining my love of art and teaching by creating, painting, developing new ideas and taking art workshops to different communities along the way.
There are always plenty of ideas brewing — from plein-air painting and Australian flower series to new ways of helping people discover the joy of making art.
Now I'm travelling Australia, painting along the way, developing new artwork and creating opportunities for people to discover that they really can be creative — they just sometimes need someone to show them where to start.
